“If you want somewhere really special and different to stay, Honeysuckle Barn is your place. From the moment we drove in Honeysuckle Barn I knew I had found somewhere special. The gardens surrounding the Barn were reminiscent of those from a stately home - extensive and beautiful. We loved exploring the secret garden and playing croquet and tennis. Staying in the 170 year old barn was such a treat. It was beautifully furnished and still kept so many of the original features. We enjoyed taking the outdoor table to several different spots for our meals - lunch in the olive grove, breakfast with the roses. It really is a photographers' dream. Tucked up in the comfortable bed, I enjoyed the best nights' sleep for ages.“

“Our stay at Honeysuckle Barn was absolutely magical. The attention to detail was extraordinary! It was like being in the English country Estate.

A cosy fire was burning when we arrived, in the beautifully renovated Barn . With an enormous picture window looking over the magnificent property we could well have settled in for the day. The beds are very comfortable with the most beautiful linen, rugs and cushions.

The Kitchen is beautifully styled with everything you could want including excellent coffee machine. There is a Tennis court or Croquet on the property. It is a wonderful getaway in an excellent location.

“My wife and I had most wonderful time away together at this hidden gem. The property is only an hour or so drive from Melbourne, making it very easy to get to, there is also a train which could get you to Kyneton in 45 minutes!

The Barn itself is super comfortable, warm, and cozy. The beds are super clean and comfortable. One of the main highlights has to be the heated bathroom floors! The interior and the exterior is the perfect blend between modern and country-style feeling. It is almost like we are in the English Country side, somewhat like Cotswold!

The fireplace and the large open window built into the wall of the barn creates a beautiful atmosphere for late afternoon drinks. There's also amazing restaurants and cafes a 5 minute drive away from the main town area. It's perfect for 2 couples or even a family of four as there are two large beds in the upper section of the barn.

One of my favourite highlights is that there is tennis court, surrounded by a beautiful garden and roses, for you to enjoy! Would highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a romantic and unique getaway from the standard hotel stays.”
